Links for a day…(vol. 92)
- First video of the Patton/Pivixki show in San Francisco on Wednesday. No sign of any Billy video or reviews yet.
[youtube id="HuHCi2orzcU"] - I was listening to BBC 6 Music the other day when a listener wrote in insisting they’d seen a reformed Faith No More last weekend supporting a Guns N’Roses tribute act Guns 2 Roses last weekend. Obviously, they were wrong – it was an FNM tribute act. You can listen to the clip here (via Thomas Greenway on Facebook):

And this is the act in question in action
[youtube id="rsDja7FGdIM"] - Epic is now available on the Rock Prodigy iPhone and iPad guitar app.
- Patton plays with fireworks – kids don’t do this at home

Faith No More at Festival Hall, Melbourne second show set list
Faith No More have not long finished their second show in Mebourne, Here is the set list, courtesy of setlist.fm. You may note that it contains such rareish gems as Small Victory, Edge of the World and Mark Bowen and a as yet unidentified one-time only cover.
Mike Patton also joked about Twitter apparently, perhaps piqued that his member has been circulating round the Twittersphere over the past few days.
There are already some cracking photos up on Flickr. None more so than those from Amped photography.

More details as we have them.
Faith No More at Festival Hall, Melbourne set list and video
By all accounts, another top-notch performance in Melbourne today. Set list courtesy of Gronk, Gezarie and co at Stubbadub, who are overdosing on Tim Tams with the band in a den of iniquity as we speak.
First video in, an excellent Just a man with Mike P taking a security guard for a ride:

Faith No More in Melbourne extra date ticket details
Bill Gould, Roddy Bottum and the Soundwave festival have all just tweeted details on Faith No More’s extra Melbourne show on 24 February.
Soundwave supply all ticket details in their long tweet:
FAITH NO MORE’s 1st Melbourne Soundwave Sideshow sold out in less than 3 minutes.
With Soundwave in Melbourne also having sold out, the band set out to find another show to help appease their legion of ticketless and frustrated fans; and finally found an opportunity to do so by joining forces with fellow headliners AFI; to form what will be the greatest Soundwave Sideshow of all time. Without further ado:

Faith No More at Coachella ticket update
It does now seem that fans who want to see Faith No More at the Coachella festival on 17 April will have to shell out $269 for a three-day pass. Tickets go on sale on 22 January at 10am from the Coachella site and a number of local record stores. The Coachella site notes: “Every person entering festival area, including camp sites, must have a festival pass. A festival pass is ONE wristband for the entire weekend. A 3-day pass ticket will be exchanged for a single wristband upon entry to the event grounds.”
So, it does look like here will be no single-day tickets for the event for the first time.
In other ticket news, no update yet on when and where tickets for Faith No More’s extra 24 February date will be available but it should not be too far from Ticketmaster.
Faith No More add extra Melbourne date
Faith No More have added a second pre-Soundwave date in Melbourne for 24 February. Bill Gould tweeted simply earlier today: “2nd Show added in Melbourne, AU…Feb 24!”
The Eagles of Death Metal will support FNM on their other sidewave dates on Monday 22 February at Hordern Pavilion, Sydney
and Thursday 25 February at the Festival Hall, Melbourne.
More details in the Australia and New Zealand page here and about Soundwave here. Ticket details for the new show when we have them.
