Faith No More’s Sol Invictus has gone straight into number 3 in the Swiss album charts.

The album is number 3 behind Andreas Gabalier and Eros Ramazzotti in the charts announced this morning. It is Faith No More’s highest ever chart placing in Switzerland. King for a Day…peaked at number 7 and Angel Dust at 9 while Album of the Year charted at 16.

The high placing is testament to some excellent PR work in the country via PIAS – with features and exclusives on public radio and significant newspaper coverage. It is also probably no coincidence that your admin is based in Switzerland and bought enough versions of the record himself for a top 10 placing.
