Faith No More play Air and Style event in Innsbruck, Austria

Faith No More played one of their more unusual gigs at a snowboarding competition at the Bergisel Stadium in Innsbruck. FNM were joined on the bill by Bad Religion and played a short set in the snow between some competitive boarding and was broadcast live on MTV. No video footage seems to exist now however but we have this audio snippet via Bungle Fever while the pic of a parka-clad Patton is one for the ages.

Faith No More play Ybor in Florida

Barely a trace of this gig exists at The Masquerade Club. The St Petersburg Times previewed the gig on 1 December. Anyone got any more info?
The paper’s gig preview was: “Wednesday, Faith No More – According to Slash Records publicity material, Axl Rose of Guns ‘N Roses says Faith No More is “by far the best band I’ve ever seen. I’m jealous”. Kirk Hammet of Metallica touts the band’s current The Real Thing as “the best album of the year”. With a big, metal-edged sound – that mixes in touches of rap – FNM is a hot ticket on alternative college radio. Life and Death opens at Masquerade in Ybor City, 8 p.m. “
