Organisers of Record Store Day,which takes place this year on 16 April, have let it slip that the recently reunited Faith No More will be releasing new material as an exclusive record day release.

The band will be releasing a double A-sided 7″ inch vinyl single featuring covers of Serge Gainsbourg’s 1968 classic Poisson Avril and the recent Martin Solveig dance smash Hello.

The record will be exclusively available on vinyl from independent record stores on 16 April only and it is a very limited edition. Find your nearest store here.

Also, in an industry first, the physical record will be available as a download from the fnm.com website on the day only. Fans will be able to download the record and print the vinyl using 3d printing technology.

The two tracks were recorded in March in San Francisco during the studio sessions for the band’s forthcoming as yet untitled new album. Band sources suggest that the record will be released independently in the autumn, with the release accompanied by a 30-date US arena tour.
