Faith No More played their scheduled show last night in Finland. At this stage the band’s future is uncertain but we can still all savour what the reformed band has given us over the past 13 months or so on the Second Coming Tour.
So thanks to Bill, Jon, Mike B, Mike P and Roddy for a wonderful adventure.
Here’s another view from side of stage (via Lusty)
“Like the echoes of your childhood laughter, ever after
Like the first time love urged you to take it’s guidance, in silence
Like your heartbeat when you realize you’re dying, but you’re trying
Like the way you cry for a happy ending, ending…”
Faith No More: The last song of the last show

Amazing. I hope it’s not the end, but I never thought they would play together again in the first place. Who knows what will happen in the future. Anyway, thanks for everything admin, this is by far the best Faith No More site on the web. This place also has the best FNM community of any site I have been to. You all kick ass!
FNM gives me the most beautiful musical emotions in my life.Thank you
very haunting, thank you so much, but don´t forget to mention roddy
Very bittersweet…I loved every second of it. I watched the Download festival on youtube countless times. Lucky enough to have seen them live on the Second Coming tour. Again thanks to FNM 2.0 and to all the FNM at the Brooklyn show ” You reminded me how fun and passionate you all are”
Hey Admin….when is that live album from this tour coming out? That was a painful April Fools joke but a good one. I have to believe we will see this band again but it will be some time.
Thanks, missed out the unforgettable Roddy in error.
Yes, thanks admin…this site is so intertwined in my FNM reunion experience and was such a great place to go to feel like I went to every show! There were so many awesome moments and it was so great to see those fuckers having a blast and enjoying every second on stage, especially considering how FNM’s demise in 1998 was so anticlimatic. I can only hope that their immense enjoyment of playing together again coupled with the insanely postive crowd response EVERY FREAKIN’ SHOW THEY PLAYED is enough to get them to consider a new album and subsequent tour.
If not, goddamn this was a hell of a time and I’m just happy to have been along for the ride.
On a side note, any word on when the Q&A will be posted?
Also pretty intense for that version of the Real Thing, instead of singing the final chorus, Patton just keeps repeating “ending” over and over.
Why stop now? FNM sounds better now than they ever have. The songs they wrote 20+ years ago sound 20 years ahead of there time even now. Very few bands have ever possessed this kind of magic. If in fact this is the end of the line, they did us fans well. I don’t really wonder if they have another record in them, I believe they do. But do they have the will to put one out under such critical eyes and steeling hands the music fans have become?
Remember: Hope becomes certainty And for once, I’m certain I never felt better now.
Being able to see FNM this year was worth every penny spent. I am so grateful to have seen them, and you echo it perfectly, Just A Fan – happy to have been along for the ride.
Big thanks to this site for providing all info every step of the way.
So true. This site enhanced the whole comeback experience. Thank you!
I’m hoping this is not the end.. maybe not having more tour dates actually mean they need some time to cook some new stuff, who knows? One can only hope.
With that said, I got to see quite a few shows of this tour and they will never, ever end.
Man, glad they ended with the BEST song of TSC Tour
Always loved the Real Thing but have a newfound love for it pOgO…it was one of the best song of this tour. Along with As the Worm Turns.
It’s really too bad that they didn’t do a full-fledged US tour……Young musicians and fans could have used the inspiration. I guess the offers weren’t there? I just don’t get it. Such an amazing group of musicians embraced in almost every part of the world EXCEPT their home country.
I wanna join the praise of this site! I follow it everyday and its my main FNM site. I hope admin will continue even if FNM take a break or whatever they will do as a band.
I had tickets to the Second Coming tour but couldn’t make it the show at P&L festival in Sweden for some reasons that sucks. So I would love to have a live CD and DVD from this tour. Its time to release it, I have listen and watched The Fat Bastards to many times now, time for new liveshit.
Thanks Admin and Faith No More.
First…Admin….thank you so much for this site….words will never express how you gave all us FNMers an outlet, a community and a voice……to all of you (especially my new buddy Steve)….thank you all for your banter and candor….I feel like I’m saying goodbye…but I certainly hope this is not the case…..to Shawn E. and my Sis for coming with to San Fran for an incredible…incredible journey….and last but not least to the absolute Fab Five…..always was and always will be……….I will never loose FAITH in you guys……..much LOVE!!!!! Take care everyone!!!
Gonna have to second what A_V said, and gonna agree with everyone else; without this site, I never would have known about the NY shows that I felt so fortunate to attend, nor would I have found such great reviews and footage of their shows. It was also great to participate in discussions, and while I truly, truly hope that this isn’t the end, it was a fun experience.

Grab the torrent posted of the Libson show on Demonoid. It is a direct digital TV rip, and it’s probably one of the best shows of the reunion.

If you do not have a Demonoid account, post your email and I will send you an invite
I would of course still love to buy a nice blu-ray from all that HD footage the band shot in San Francisco. Pro shot high def FNM is worth paying a premium for… (are you reading this, biz guys?
)
Thank you Admin, for anchoring this madness on the intertrons! Your efforts made the reunion experience even more rich and vibrant.
Thanks FNM, it was awesome. I will never forget those three nights in April. And I still think you should institute the annual Jon Hudson Birthday Show at the Warfield!
Formica,
I have it both on DVD and Mp3, but thanks anyway
I still want an official live release its much cooler
Interesting that they phased out Reuinted for the last shows and went out with Midnight Cowboy -> From out of Nowhere. I guess that’s more reflective of the bittersweet mood of the final shows, because they may not be all that reunited forever.
And remember folks, Billy, Jon and Puffy already wrote some post-FNM music over a decade ago as Castro Sinatra, which never saw the light of day. At the very least, they can dust those tunes off and see what Patton can do with them.
Formica-
I would love to have a DVD of a pro shot show. Hook me up if u can. Thanks!
Nickc_mortgage@yahoo.com
Hey, folks, does anybody know wheter Mr. Steffan Chirazi is still alive? It’s high time to continue his book ‘The Real Story’ with part two, damn it!
So, what was the “special song” they were going to do that Bill wrote about on Twitter…? Anyone know?
Sophie it was Ajde Jano – they played it in Serbia. It is a Serbian folksong as far as I can tell.
Hey Formica – would you be able to send me a link to a Demonoid invite, too? I have the audio, just not the video. megan.caffery@gmail.com
Thanks so much
.
I’m so thankful I got to see Faith No More in Philadelphia….here’s hoping I will be able to replicate that amazing feeling sometime in the near future.
Also, I hate to seem like I’m raining on the parade of the DVD/Album talk, but wouldn’t FNM releasing something new involve a whole bunch of icky management/label contracts and stuff? It’d be too big of a release for Ipecac, and one could assume that part of the fun of this reunion tour was not dealing with label/record company bullshit. Just food for thought. I’d love a Blu-ray DVD of this tour
@ Formica
I’d also like to have a DVD of the pro-shot show: if you could send me a link, that would rule!
symmewise@gmail.com
Hopefully we still get news as the final tweaked version of this site rules!
I’m sure FNM will be back soon
When will we see the fAns Q & A the band did ?
First, thanks Admin, this site has kept me with the group the whole way. You do a great job.
I was fortunate enough to see the band in Philly. What an experience. Can’t help but feel like I did when the group broke up so many years ago. But, much like the each band member moved on after the dust settled, I will too.
I hope that this site keeps rolling and that one day Faith No More will again.
Thanks to FNM 2.0 and the band for one hell of a year.
Damn. That would have been another great question for the FNM Q&A –
Patton, when you first joined the band you were pretty straight edge and somewhat vocal in being anti-drinking and anti-smoking. What happened to you, man?
so… it may be it. In that case I’d love to hear random stories from the crowd @second-coming. In 13 months there must have been a bunch of groupies that completed a second coming for the artists, to start with
. Here some random thoughts/memories, I hope you all share some. Peace people, and see some of you in the third coming, maybe in our next lives, maybe in norway 2011
- I made it to 4 gigs: 2 great ones (frankfurt, brooklyn 05), 1 just ok (hurricane), 1 in a very crappy venue full of usa’s eating fries with ketchup (philadelphia).
- the crowds in frankfurt and brooklyn 05 deserve all my respect, glad to have been there with you guys
- the first time i heard Caffeine live (hurricane) i completely lost my voice in the ‘forget the glamour’ part; most excitement ever
- I’m very impressed with some female fans, that stand there in the first rows, showing great character sometimes, and even physical strength to hit 120-pound guys that showed no courtesy at all. Love you girls. she loves me not. Special mention to a girl in brooklyn 05 that was filming and making pictures in the first rows, sometimes to the crowd, between roddy and mikeP; your face of rejoice all throughout is priceless. I want to sing a song for you, some sunday morning baby.
- If the band goes for new songs, welcome. Certainly, nothing that they’d release could be better than Angel Dust, so I really don’t care about new songs. Even new bands.
- You guys deserve a reward; help yourself
and keep in touch
Had anyone seen this? The last post from Roddy’s blog (dated July 18) is titled: “…………..counting down”.
He opens saying “technically speaking, there is one show left in our career. it’s far up in finland amongst the reindeer and dirty rock trolls, so far in fact that we’ve chartered a plane to get there.”
He then closes by saying “one show left people. one show left…..”.
Ok, so TECHNICALLY speaking? what does that mean? I am intentionally being optimistic in all my comments, as I obviously don’t want this to end.. but it sounds to me like they’re leaving a door open. Like, alright.. they might not have plans for the band right now, but that doesn’t mean they all came to an agreement that there won’t be more shows/albums, etc…
Thank you to admin…….. Lets hope that its not over. But we also must remember that for a very long time all we had was bootlegs and the internet to remember this great band.
Formica can you send me an invite please
Sxebrian@aol.com
Thanks brian

@Tbrandao – It means they have no more scheduled shows. Technically speaking, they have no more shows in their career. Unless they book more. Then the Finland show wouldn’t be the last of their career.
Yes it is sad, but it is beautiful, because they are exclusive- they will never be cheap massculture sensation, but something really special- The Real thing, but only for blessed souls that have the privilege to know them..
@ formica. Could you also send me invite finance@passlowford.com.au
Can I get an invitation to that demonoid thing? Like, pretty-pretty please?
herrzola@yahoo.com
@Formica, me, too, please!

Thanks Admin, thanks FNM! As of April 14 my first (’92 warfield ) and last (’10 warfield) concerts have been Faith no more. Makes me not want to see another live show. Of course I will see more shows but never be more entertained.
I got to see them twice this summer. I never ever ever thought i would..
AHHHH! thanks so much to the admin of this site for detailed every last amazing drop of this reunion. If I met you in real life, I would buy you a drink and give you a hug.
I really really really hope this isn’t the end END of FNM. I would understand if it were, but am hoping beyond hope that they found SOMETHING in their reuniting that would perhaps give them the spark to create something new (or at least tour more in the U.S.!). The show in Brooklyn on July 5th basically RUINED me for all other live shows. Never before have I seen a band with as much energy, commitment and skill behind them. Patton is a ridiculous mad-genius entertainer/singer, and the chops that Bill, Mike, Roddy, and John possess are too numerous to count. That was the first time I ever saw FNM, despite being a fan from their early beginnings (for much of their career, I was stuck in college in Vermont, where NO good non-hippie jam bands ever played), and if it’s my last, it’s my last — but I really don’t want it to be. In the end, I’m thrilled the band had fun and patched up some wounds from years past. It was fantastic to witness.
Thanks to all in FNM, for making it all happen again. Every FNM moment a treasure.
Thanks to Admin, you’re doing a great job.
Thanks to the admins of http://www.newfaithnomore.com ! If I was 15 years old and someone said when I was 30 I would be able follow everysingle show of their REUNION ( WTF.. IT HAPPENED AND I SAW THEM AGAIN! ) I would be a very happy 15 year old.
Thankyou! Amazing.
WE KNOW THE FEELING. IT IS THE REAL THING!
Left this on Roddy’s Twitter a couple of hours before the gig. Just sayin’…
@roddybottum One show left, and you know it will be the best yet. 20,00 0 drunken Finns cannot be wrong.

I attended 2 shows in this tour: Paris in 2009, my first FNM show, great gig. And Bilbao in 2010, I couldn’t believe it but it was even better than Paris. A big ‘thank you’ to the band for giving me the chance. I’ve been waiting long years for this, and definitely it’s been worth it all.
Thanks to FNM and co. Best fucking gig ever! 40,000 ears must have enjoyed the whole set. But yes, the haunting version of The Real Thing was really amazing. And yet I was there, having eargasms and enjoying The Real Thing.
Best live band ever!
Formica!! can you send me an invite..

Thank U very much Admin, it was great to follow FNM 2.0 through this site.
Hey,
Me among others we’re at the front and managed to see the setlist paper after the show. A couple of changes for the encore:
Reunited
Real Thing
Kashmir
So they dropped Reunited and what on earth is Kashmir (Led Zeppelin)???
But anyway – GUYS, TAKE A BREAK, BUT DO NOT QUIT!
