Well, Bill’s most recent Tweet suggests something special: “We’re planning 1 special song, for 1 performance only in this next leg, though we’re not going to say which show.”
- Meanwhile, Roddy has tweeted details for the 5 July date at the same venue: “Doors 530, James Chance maybe 6 or 630, Neil Hamburger at 7 or 730, FNM at 8.”

Man, how bad does it suck that I’m going to be in New York on July 18th? I’m headed up for my dad’s 60th birthday, if only he’d been born two and a half weeks earlier, haha.
And I’m still not expecting a new song for whatever it is they have planned. At this point, I don’t really know WHAT I’m expecting.
I’m heading over from the UK for the July 5th show. Should be awesome, definitely hoping for this ‘special song’ whatever it is.
Does anyone know much about the venue? I can’t find details online and I’m going to have to pick my tickets from the venue. A phone number or something would be great if it exists…
Really like the new shirt…I’m heading out to the show on the 5th. This weekend will be quick and intense with plenty of posts about set lists and fan reaction. It’s almost here!

Happy birthday, Roddy, an excellent keyboardist, musician, gay icon, and person in general.
Kevbayer – the posters are a $60.00 and they do not have tubes. Although, alot of people who were at the Warfield brought their own tubes and then took all of their merchandise and brought it to the coat check. They also have hats which are very nice….and Happy Birthday Fucker T’s as well…which are sweet. They have the 2 cloudy sky t’s with dates on the back as wella s the 2.0 fnm t’s…with the posters you can spend upwards of $200. The t’s are $30 or $35…and I think the hat was $25. Hope this helps.

Nick…unfortunately no. Going out to San Fran kinda tapped my resources monetarily. I wish I could. To be honest…I am assuming that the set will be very similar (minus 1 or 2 songs) and I don’t know if anything can top the Warfield. I will wait and see if they release a new album and do another tour…then I will be all over it…but then again if they do all those things they will most likely come to Toronto which would be ideal for me. HAVE FUN IN NYC….SOME SOMETHING DRINK SOMETHING AND YELL YOUR F***ing HEADS OFF….GIVE THEM AS MUCH LOVE AS YOU CAN!!!!
P.S. – I doubt it’s going to happen in these first three shows…but…IF YOU GUYS GET THAT SPECIAL SONG….AND IT IS INDEED A NEW TRACK….YOU ALL BETTER ROCK LIKE THE APOCALYPSE IS UPON US!!!!! One more sleep!!!! Have fun FNM team!!!!!
