I am starting to look forward to this release more and more every day. From watching the Youtube videos... I thought MP's voice was a little too strong and un-subtle for what he was singing (even the hyper stuff). There always seems to be a hard edge of sarcasm and irony in his voice, even while "crooning". If he softened things up a little in the remastering I think it will sound great. Also the review mentioned some "tropicalismo" (?!?) throughout the tracks. I bet he couldn't resist throwing a little Les Baxter-esque exotica in the mix. This might motivate me to get my little Tiki bar set up and have a few cocktail parties this spring :) Yes! I am starting to look forward to this release more and more every day.
