Via Gezarie and mikepatton.cl, here is an image of the official Faith No More tour poster for the group’s concert at the Festival Hall, Melbourne on 25 February designed by none other than Faith No More bass player Bill Gould.

You can see the full array of posters including the distinctly Roxy Music album cover circa 1974-style effort for Christchurch over at mikepatton.cl.

A little white box with an X? I’d expect better…
A little white box with an x? What are you talking about? If you are referring to the poster…then you obviously have no idea what your talking about…That poster is gorgeous!!!!! Don’t be a hater!
“Dingo ate my baby!” … great poster by Gould. The Azaria Chamberlain disappearance story is Aussie folklore.
“Dingo ate my baby!” … great poster by Gould. The Azaria Chamberlain disappearance story is Aussie folklore. Even though there are no dingos in Melbourne!
… I can’t help it, I HATE little white boxes with X’s. I’ve been seeing them a lot, especially when I try to view stuff at work. They must be some sort of inside joke I just don’t get… I mean, they aren’t even centered, they are usually stuck in the top left corner of this big empty space. What’s THAT all about?
Touche (with accent)!
Right over my head. Sorry…my fault…sorry….carry on….Firsa thank you.
Oh hey I thought you were joking too! It’s all good
I’m terribly excited….energy levels at an all time high!! All good on planet FNM!!!!
Yeah, I’m seeing tons of white boxes with x’s at work lately too. Boo.
What do we think of the Christchurch poster? Bizarre and a little…geez I don’t know what to say…I still like it…but woah!
I’m not crazy about the Christchurch one, I felt a little disappointed, I do like the Auckland and Melbourne posters.
gotta get me 1 those posters, even though dog looks a bit English bull terrier like.dingo with baby feeding off it would b funny though ; ) more excited than when the fat bloke in silly red suit drops in!! JIZZZZZLOBEEEEEERRRR!!!!!!!!!
Hello, there it is! Not sure what changed, but I can see the poster now. I like the English Bull Terrier – reminds me of “The Incredible Journey”. Good stuff.
I haven’t seen the Christchurch poster yet, but from what I’ve seen of the artist’s other works on Google thumbnails, it’s probably nothing I’d want to be opening up at work anyway…!
Firsa, that’s no English Bull terrier … it’s an Australian Dingo.
That’s only a dingo if you’ve never seen one. Bull Terrier more like it.
you call that a dingo? well.. it’s not
And… just saw the CHCH poster. Actually tamer than I expected, thanks to the Star of Lakshmi pasties.
I think it’s supposedto be a dingo (species of wild dog found in Australia), but it does look remarkably like an English bull terrior!
The release info for the FNM posters will be posted shortly on our new blog:

The more I think about it, the more I am convinced it is Bodger from The Incredible Journey. How can it not be?
I agree. It looks exactly like a bull terrier. Dingos have more pointed noses.

Bodger from the incredible journey would make sense. Kudos! Now, first I thought it was an american bully, which would make sense too, but the picture is definitely an english pitbull terrier not an american one or a bully. Kool poster none the less
hey, yeah its a nice poster! but whats with the shows for melbourne? why am i going on the 25th when the 24th is the same deal….oh thas right its a AFI free zone
just to end speculation Bill’s old dog was an English PIt….he was also seen wearing an E.P shirt in their Romanian Capital Building visit this summer…http://twitpic.com/e19lz
lolz, Billy keeps tweeting his “opinion” of the Christchurch poster. I’d disagree with him if I thought he was serious!
