Billy and Roddy have just tweeted that Faith No More will play another show at the Warfield in San Francisco on 12 April after having already announced shows for the 13 and 14 April:
RODDYBOTTUM Hey!!! We’ve added a THIRD Warfield show! Monday the 12th, the third and final SF show. On sale now!
MRGOULD You know what? We’re adding a THIRD Warfield show: April 12!!!!
Tickets for the new show are on sale NOW.

I’m in for all 3 nights!
Anyone else wants to group up and maybe share a place in SF?
Aw man I wish. Tuesday is the earliest I can fly down. That kinda sucks that I won’t be seeing the FIRST show – hope the gang makes the shows on the 13 and 14 special too.
I just can’t believe my LUCK!!! And I thought after seeing them in Mexico I would die a happy woman – now I can die FKN ECSTATIC!!!
still pulling up floor for this show…wish i had a floor ticket for tuesday..
Floor for Monday and Tuesday, balcony for Wednesday. Speechless !!
Me too. 3 days….I’m thinking they’re going to play the whole fucking catalogue!!
Noooo! I can’t afford this show, too. I hate to say it, but I’m pretty bummed. I really thought I was getting to see their very first show. But I guess 2 out of 3 isn’t bad…
Hey everyone – Did anybody happen to grab an extra floor ticket for the THIRD added show (Monday 4/12) @ the Warfield that they could sell to me? We can talk price, etc – if anyone can help out please email me, jeffkritzstein@gmail.com – I’d appreciate it.
Im kinda bummed I wont see the first show too, I bought 14th and 13th, but couldnt afford also the 12th! doh! Oh well it will still be an amazing show both nights!
Krystalita – I know how you feel. We’re just spoiled now. I think the show on the 14th will rock just as much.
Jeff – for torture, I pretended to buy 2 floor tix for the Monday and they were still available. This was like an hour ago.
Cheers
Lusty/Stubb
Yah – only Balcony available now…. I’m going back and forth..i CAN get up there for it, but I’ve never been to the Warfield – I don’t know about the Balcony seating…. if it sucks, etc… I don’t know what to do! LOL – by the time I figure it out, the thing will be sold out
Anyone got any words of advice that’s been to Warfield before up in BAL1, ROW H seats?
I know, it was just hard feeling the 1st show being taken away… again!
I feel silly complaining about not being able to see them 3 times, though, especially when I thought I’d never get to see them at all! So, it will be AMAZING no matter what!
Same…it pretty much took me all day to get over it ha! I also questioned my dedication to the band – like, a REAL fan would make it happen! But sadly I can’t fly in any sooner than Monday. And I still think we need to keep the FNM partying spirit going on Tues and Wed! :p
And by Monday, I mean Tuesday.
there are NO bad seats at the Warfield.
^^ agree, the warfield is one of the best venues ever!
HEADS UP!
FNM Junkies – ANYONE who is looking to go on the 12th (Monday) and be on the FLOOR/GA – go to Ticketmaster NOW … I was just able to get (2) Floor tickets 5 minutes ago….
I saw a fan complaining with Roddy via Twitter about this (first show being taken away from the fans who purchased earlier).
His response was “we are aware of who bought tickets when, and we will act accordingly”.
I am sure the fans will be rewarded with an awesome set on the night of the 14th.
Billy also says “we are already planning on what to do on each night”.
My guess is that Chuck Mosley will finally join MP on stage for Reunited.
BTW, I am either driving or flying from San Diego. I’m in for the 3 nights.
No clue of where to stay, etc.. thoughts?
i fuckin love u fuckers u i live outside im valuble at shows hook me up tramps
Does anyone know the camera policy at the Warfield?
I couldnt afford to buy tickets for the 12th unfortunately :*( I did get tickets for the 13th and 14th though!
Is there any chance someone wants to trade my 3 floor tickets on the 13th for 3 floor tickets on the 12th? I really want to make it to the first show!
If someone got extra tickets for the 12th floor and would rather have 3 floor for the 13th please let me know.
email brainphreak@gmail.com
P.S. I also have 4 seats for the 14th and would gladly trade all 4 seats for 3 floor tickets on the same date 4/14
I’d also like to know if SLRs are allowed in the Warfield.
Hey all i`m doing a FNM tribute called An Ode to Faith No More @ http://www.stickam.com/djshawnymac on FEBRUARY 20 2010 @ 7:00pm EST!!! Spread the word! Sign up and chat as well!
Why oh why oh why could they not have played SF in July?…I just so happen to be over there from the UK then. I feel this is karma for taking my eye off the FNM ball whilst playing at being an adult for far too many years and completely missing the news of their reformation, and subsequently missing ALL their UK dates…including one that was 40 f@!@!@g minutes down the road from me!!!!
GWAR will be opening all nights dawning costumes from the Scumdogs of the Universe era.
This is going to rule!
I’m not sure about the camera policy, either. Never been to the Warfield, but I would think a small point and shoot would be ok, as long as the band doesn’t have a no camera policy. I just don’t want to take my camera then have to leave and go back to my car, or worse, have it taken away.
Guys!!! guys…guys!!!! Stop for a second. Don’t be bummed…I’ve got 2 out of 3 nights as well….Monday night they are going to get warmed up and then TUESDAY WEDNESDAY CALI IS GONNA BURN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree with Ti Mort – Tuesday will be MY warmup lol, Wednesday night is going to be insane. Extra special, as Roddy hinted at. I don’t think any of us who jumped on that first presale is going to be disappointed
Lusty Stubb
You siad itWanderlusting….good positive energy. All 3 shows will be something for the history books!!!! Let’s all be happy we will be there to witness such an event! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!! 63 more sleeps!!!!!
I agree that the first night is going to be a warm up too. As far as camera policy, all the videos I have watched on the tour have people with cameras! Some where I read that you can check camera in at front if they don’t let them in. Going Tues and Wed, could barley get my boyfriend to go once! He can’t understand why I only listen to Mike Patton bands.
SandB – same. Well my bf used to be a huge FNM fan (he was even in a fnm cover band) as well as Peeping Tom, Bungle…and then he met me and I eclipsed him. Now I’m pretty sure he resents Patton. But I guess I don’t make it easy on him. He’s happy to go to both shows and coachellla but put his foot down about Mondays show. I’d go alone tho, if I could :p
I think point and shoots will be fine at the Warfield – I’d love to bring my SLR but it would get moshed on even if it was allowed (pretty sure SLRs won’t be allowed)
Yeah, point and shoot seems to be the way to go.
Man, can’t believe I’ll see these guys live again.
Still looking for info/tips on SF accommodation and such. Thanks!
Thiago: I’m pretty sure I’m booking here: Executive Hotel Vintage Court, Union Square – less than a hundred a night with wine tastings and free wireless and close to the venue. Only prob with hotels.com *where you get the deal* is that you have to pay up front. You can always cancel with no penalty and they refund you but they will charge you when you book it.
So does anyone here have some good info on the venue? How’s the sightline on the ground floor?
Can I squeeze in late if I have to and still have a good vantage point from the back of the place, or would you suggest getting in line 2hrs or so ahead of time to have any sort of view? I’m a little person (5’4″)
From the Warfield’s website –
Showtime: 8:00 PM
Doors open: 7:00 PM
General Rules:
NO bottles, cans, alcohol, cameras, or recording equipment allowed.
But go do a search on ‘Warfield San Francisco” on youtube some 2,000 videos come up. I would stick with the cell phone, not sure if they would allow a point and click inside.
I’m fucking jealous of you guys !! I really mean it !! =’(
Thank God, the vids will be available quite fast !! Froggies want FNM again !!!
Firsa, if I was on your shoes I’ll go there really earlier, I’m also 5’4” and it was complicated for me, luckily those who where with me are quite tall, so it helps but just take your seat (I’m not so sure there’s seats) as early as you can !! Front row !!
can anyone confirm that GWAR is opening?
Cheers, Wanderlusting!
That is def. an option. I’m in for the three nights, tho. So I might consider a cheap motel as well.
I am just loving reading everyone’s messages here. This really is awesome! I am going all 3 nights. The 12th is seated but the other two are floor. This is going to be insane! It is nice to see FNM get this much love in the U.S. I hope it stays this way.
Alright! I’ll be there on the 14th, GA, as close to the front as possible – but just outside spitting distance
Firsa – I WILL be in spitting distance lol, but you can go next to me (also short
)
Thiago – my other option was to stay at the La Quinta. It’s outta town near the airport but close to the BART and I believe it was less than $50 a night with free breakfast and really nice rooms, pool, etc
La Quinta sounds very doable. I’ve stayed at a LaQuinta somewhere in Nebraska once and it was very decent.
Not sure if I will drive/fly or even if I’ll stay from Mon – Wed. It all depends on work situation at the time. Might have to fly back and forth (San Diego – SF). All I know is that I won’t miss this fr anything.
Hey Wanderlusting, is there cheap parking at La Quinta? I hear parking in SF is ridiculously high. Not sure if I am going to fly or drive either. I guess it all depends on if the girlfirend comes with. If she doesn’t on the other hand I will have an extra ticket for both Monday seated and Tuesday floor if anyone is interested.
I’ve been considering the La Quinta, as well. They don’t charge for parking, it’s the hotels in the city that do. I think the cheapest I’ve found was around $25 per night for parking.
I’ll be driving up to SF, and I don’t know whether it’s best to stay in the city, leave my car at the hotel and just walk to places, or stay outside and drive into the city and take my car everywhere. Either way there will be parking fees. Anyone have advice on that? Never been to SF and I’m hoping to make reservations somewhere by this weekend.
Scoop on the warfield: First level is below the stage about 15-20 feet deep. 2nd level is the best spot to view face to face with the band 20 feet away (you better get in line early and have a strong bladder). There is a 3rd and maybe a 4th level after that, further and further from the stage. The balcony is comparatively pretty close to the stage, but really high. The warfield has a little “abe lincoln” balcony over the stage, but my friend said people are only allowed in it at the bands request.
Some more thoughts: Take earplugs just in case. I saw pantera here and my ears were ringing 3 days after the fact.
Don’t leave until the house lights come on, FNM will probably do two encores.
Do leave shortly after the lights come on, for sold out shows the warfield sometimes gives out cool posters for free at the exit but usually run out.
Thanks JDub! Good info.
The first level is not 15-20 below the stage. That’s how I am reading it at least. If you are on the floor, you are head level with the stage.
i mean 15-20 feet wide! 15-20 feet below the stage would make for some interesting stage dives though
Gotcha JDub. I see what you are saying.
I was thinking the same thing. That would be a bizarre setup.
