With Soundwave in Melbourne also having sold out, the band set out to find another show to help appease their legion of ticketless and frustrated fans; and finally found an opportunity to do so by joining forces with fellow headliners AFI; to form what will be the greatest Soundwave Sideshow of all time. I was very fortunate to get tix for the Feb 25 show. It’s fantastic that they will play another show, but just how many tix will actually be available if tix holders for AFI can also go?
I can’t believe it!! My wife bought us tix to AFI ages ago and when I found out that FNM would be playing another show the same night I was gutted. This is unreal!!!! Now I get to see em 3 nights in a row and 5 times in 9 days!!! Dream come true.

Enough with the Australia dates already, we need more American dates. Coachella is too far for me to travel, hopefully the play in the upper midwest, maybe Lollapaloza.
I was going to go to Jane’s Addiction that night, now I’ve changed my mind. I also love AFI. I went to see them in Amsterdam and missed FNM in Edinburgh, as I’d booked my trip to Amsterdam before I knew about FNM being in Scotland.
Thank you for putting on a second show, I got tickets to the second show. Appreciate the respect for Melbourne fans.
what a disgrace. people pay well over $125 per ticket for AFI only to have them shunted back to support act for a band that wasn’t originally on the bill. typical of promoters, lets screw the fans for the sake of a quick buck and shame on Faith No More for hijacking another bands concert, also shame on AFI for turning their back on THEIR fans to appease a band that was in their prime 20 years ago. What a joke
I’m sorry that I’m posting this on a FNM website, but no where else allows comments, funnily enough. I was livid when I found out that the tickets that I’d already paid for were no longer for a full AFI concert. Could they not have found another night? If not, another arena? Congratulations for those of you who are happy with the arrangement though.
