Faith No More have announced that they will play San Francisco’s Warfield Theatre on 14 April.
Roddy Bottum tweeted today: San Francisco… At last we announce… FNM special show at the Warfield Theatre/April 14!!! Tickets on sale Sunday 2/07.
More ticket details when we have them. Faith No More last played a home town gig at the same venue on 6 October 1997.

WhooooHooooooo!!!!!! <3<3<3
Wow. This is good news. Enjoy San Fran!!
YES!
I’ve been waiting since October to see if that lil Tweet Roddy made back then would EVER come to fruition and let’s just say I’ve never been more glad to be right! I can breathe now…
You can bet I’ll be getting those tickets on Sunday morning…now, where’s a good hotel (that’s not TOO expensive) by the Warfield?
FNM 2X in 1 WEEK? *head exploded*
Cheers,
Lusty
My friends have nothing but good things to say about Hotel Mirabelle.

My friend stayed there for an entire week for $253, which your average chain hotel downtown can go for $200 a night. Other people have said that they can get rooms for $40 a day.
It’s a block away from BART in a somewhat ghetto part of town (But hey, welcome to San Francisco) but there’s lots of really good dive restaurants nearby, including my favorite Filipino place.

$3 lumpia. Yum…
Hell yes twice in 1 week. I may lose my job, my sanity, and spend a fair amount of change, all in the name of Mike. I have waited too long and obsessed for too many years to pass this opportunity up. See you in SF and Indio!
Matt
I’m happy for you people but also so jealous. Finaly they’re coming home
Awesome!
If there is a higher power I will get tickets on Sunday!!!! Anybody in San Fran wanna put up with 2 plus Canadians for a couple of nights?
I really want to go! Must work my ass off after goin to Australia, then.
Even though it can be kind of ghetto at night, The Mission is a super fun place to explore during the day. There’s a lot of amazing murals and famous burrito restaurants, including one of Patton’s favorite places -

La Taqueria, 2889 Mission St. “It’s the first place I go to when I get back from a tour and the last place I go before I leave on tour.”
Thanks for the suggestions guys! Hey two Canadians, I’m part of two Canadians who also need putting up with lol. Gonna book a hotel right on the action at least for the show night.
And like Mike (above) I’m also planning to lose all money and sanity. Whoops too late!
Wnaderlusting with any luck we’ll both be there!!!!
Who’s going to Coachella? I bought a 3 day ticket just to see FNM…
Me!!! I am!!!! Flying from NC. Can’t do San Fransico, though.
Put coachella on stubhub! SF show will be twice as good! Great venue and a longer set list for sure! Don’t stay near the warfield not safe or clean. Buy GA at the warfield if your in the balcony it will be like you weren’t even there.
Thanks for the info JDub!!! Very much appreciated.
I watched a video of FNM from the Warfield in ’92 filmed from the balcony and it looked pretty good. Is it better for g.a. for the atmosphere?
The view is good from the balcony but it is seated and even when everyone is standing it doesn’t really feel like you are at a concert (so yeah atmosphere). The floor is awesome because the pit area is small but enough room for people that want to crush. The rest of the floor is in levels so you can see really good if you get a good spot, nice for those of us under 6 feet tall. Lots of really good spots on the floor just get in early.
Thanks for the info JDub. Wonder how quick the show is going to sell out?
It’s gonna sellout QUICK. The Warfield only holds about 2500 or so.
Ticketmaster is gonna get dicey. I’m going to buy at least one extra ticket if I get through.
I encourage everyone to do the same.
This way, we can try and make sure that everyone who wants to go gets the opportunity!
