Wow, all this time I spent geeking out over these guys and I never knew about the book!
Have to say though, I read the review on the link ~ and I’m pretty sure I remember the “disturbing” t-shirt that was mentioned. I think Mike P. wore it for a Spin or Rolling Stone magazine photo shoot way back in ’91 or so. Even though I wasn’t a fan then, I remember being shocked by his choice of attire. The shirt would NOT have made a good Christmas gift.
…But the book is a good idea – mahalo for the tip!
Faith No More: The Real Story seriously needs to go back into print again. Or somebody should just write a new book about them.

A book on FNM would be ok. But a detailed film documentary would be far superior.

Even though I’m not a RHCP fan and think that they’ve been making crappy records for the past 2 decades or so, a part of me would still love to see a festival promoter book the RHCP and FNM 2.0 on the same stage.
That would be a great grudge-match line up and bring out a lot of interesting emotions on stage.
