That was the best party I’ve ever been to!

  2. Chris says:

I’m an American making the trip next week to see them in Guadalajara. I was wondering if they are selling posters for the South/American leg? i saw them in Dublin in August and they were selling signed show specific posters, haven’t heard anything thus far. Any other merch. changes of note? Thanks in advance…

  3. Hahaha! Yay! Thanks man, your blog is a daily read :)

People around me have started to question my sanity but I’m glad you FNM folks kind of understand ;P

Hi Chris, I’m going to the Monterrey concert and flying to Guadalajara too. I’m pretty sure there are no posters for this leg of the tour, but heard from an official source and from a report from Chile, that they’re selling T-shirts, I guess the same ones from Cinderblock…

  6. 3d-alex says:

Also, I don’t know if this has been posted yet,

    openers for Guadalajara: Clondementto
    http://www.myspace.com/losclondementto

openers for Mexico DF: Los Nena
    http://www.myspace.com/losnena

Clondementto has a strong Mr. Bungle influence… It’s going to be a great show, better than Pato Machete at least….

  7. Awesome one !!!

Trail of Tears’ cover is quite special but not so bad in a way !!! Buenos Aires gig was really great, Argentinians were on fire !!! ;-)

Just remebered the existence of this: http://www.underweb.com.br/brsabor/

It’s a FNM tribute made in 2004 only with brazillian bands of course, unfortunetly any of the links, either for preview or download arent working.
There where some fun tracks in it…if I find somewhere else where this could be avalible I’ll send it.

Here is the statement of Billy Gould about the tribute:

    April 24, 2004

    To All Brazilian Fans

Que se pasa caras e gatas! This might sound like bullshit, but Brazil was one of FNM’s favorite places to tour – the food is amazing, the land is unbelievably beautiful, but most of all, the people are probably the coolest and craziest in the world. We played some incredible shows there, had some really good times (one of our roadies lost their virginity to a monkey near Manaus). If anything could bring FNM back together, it would probably be a tour of Brazil, because it would be guaranteed to be Fun.

I would like to thank all of our fans, and the bands that contributed to “Brazilian Sabor” for keeping FNM’s spirit alive in Brazil (and the World!). You guys have an incredible loyalty. Now, please, one of you send me a copy of the record, so i can hear the fucker!!

    Seeeya,

    Billy Gould

I want that shirt :) I’m so jelaous of South American audience.

  10. Whit says:

There were no posters for either of the Chile shows. Thankfully, I got one in Dublin.

  11. jgs says:

I’m the bass player for the band called Crushed, we did our version of “What a day” and later on our band received appraisal from Billy himself via an email. This was priceless at that time, circa 2003 I guess :-) At that time, (almost) nobody thought FNM would someday reunite…

And today I’ll be seeing ‘em live for the first time in my life.

  12. sikwit says:

I love “What a Day”, and wish they’d add it to the setlist, along with “Got That Feeling”, “Get Out”, and “Naked in Front of the Computer”. I sometimes feel like the only FNM fan in North Carolina that will admit it. I wish they’d do some East Coast dates in the states; I’ll quit my job and make the drive.

  13. FREI NO MORE !

loved the idea of change the band name for a while xD!

    master Patton
