The media blackout seems to have been well and truly abandoned for the South American leg of the Second Coming tour with major Argentinean newspaper Clarin today featuring an in-depth interview with Faith No More bassist Bill Gould. Sample quote: “[Clarin] And some new songs? [Billy] No, no… We began to practise six weeks before the start of the tour, we had to re-learn some 75 songs – to be able to vary the list of songs in the shows in different cities and so there was not time to compose. Yes I can tell you that we have spoken of that, and that I am in favour, but I think we will have to see how we feel after this tour. “

What makes me MOST excited from this is that they have over 75 songs to re-learn and potentially play us!
Even more excited to be heading to San Francisco for April – you know they’ll be there! If I could head up a show in Portland, Seattle and Vancouver, well I’d just die the happiest little lady!
PS that Youtube video that you (and Mr.Gould) posted is nuts…but how awesome is Billy, getting out and taking the photos. Such a nice, affable guy. And obviously, pleasantly optimistic!
PPS if they had crashed in the Andes, I know Patton would probably eat everyone first.
PPPS – That FeastofFetus band left a comment on my blog…love that they think FNM reads it! I think it was just Mike and just that one time but hey, I can keep dreaming. Mike Patton reading my blog = blogger heaven. Anyway, good luck to them!

please excuse my exclamation mark abuse…too much coffee for Tuesday morning
can anyone please translate? i could send you some naked SuBo pictures?
What blog is that?
I respect Faith No More for being true to themselves and not wanting to To promise anything or even lead a promise so as to not make themselves Liars if they change their Mind. But come on. One more album.
Sample quote:
“C: Any new songs?”
“BG: (…)I can tell you by now that we talked about it (writing new material), and I AGREE, but I think we have to see how we feel after the tour”
:O The main composer of FNM agrees??? This certanly gives me hope for the future
