Faith No More garnered a lot of attention for their slot at Reading tonight despite being up against the most popular band in the UK Kings of Leon. BBC have just finished showing a healthy proportion of their gig – around seven songs – and a lot of attention has been lavished on their now familiar Eastenders cover. There should be a lot of pro-shot videos making their way online tomorrow.

Review:
From the good old indie bible NME (they were on their stage after all). Sample quote: “Later in the set, Patton treated the crowd to a singing lesson. “Got that note? Happy with it?” he asked. “Now we’re going to teach you rhythm. Welcome to my world, bitches.”

They played loads of Kings of Leon but only Epic from FNM. I had to sit through so much shite to hear that one and only song.
Dunno where BBC were showing healthy proportion of the gig – not on my TV!!!
only managed to catch epic last night on bbc 3, but just found this video highlights on bbc site:

“Up against most popular band in UK, KoL” ??? I don’t think so!
Third best-selling album and two number one singles in the UK in 2008.
